Brachycephalic Dog Breeds, inparticular the French Bulldog are becoming one of the most popular dogs in Western World.  These dogs can suffer terribly with BOAS. The Clinical signs of BOAS can include dyspnea (difficulty breathing), stertor (noisy breathing), exercise intolerance, regurgitation/vomiting and overheating.

Breeds that are deemed Brachycephalic are – French Bulldogs, Bulldogs, Boxers, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Shih Tzus, Boston Terriers, Mastiffs, and Pugs, Affenpinscher, Brussels Griffon, Dogue de Bordeaux, Japanese Chin, Lhasa Apso, Brasileiro, and Pekingese.
